STOKE saw through a classic smash ‘n grab to snatch the three points at Spurs.
Lennon headed down the tunnel after injuring his ankle — leaving Spurs to play the rest of the game with 10 men.
The winner came four minutes from full-time when Ricardo Fuller tore through Tottenham to tee up Whelan.

It was the first time King, back in the side after more injury woes, had found the net in 2009. And Defoe doubled Spurs’ lead when he tapped home Tom Huddlestone’s cross.
Boateng got one back on his old boss by nabbing back a goal for Pompey.

Redknapp has preferred Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe up front so far, and they were both on target as well last night. But the Spurs boss said: “Crouchie took his goals well and I’m pleased for him.
That hat-trick will do him a lot of good and he’s given me a problem – the sort all managers like.
But Jermain scored again and Robbie went on as a sub and took his goal well too.
